Story of the Elf

Once upon a time, There was a two young brothers that named Anthony and William.
They were living with their mother and dog.
One beautiful afternoon, a mother told to her two sons to go gather wood for fuel.
----------Then they went to in a woods.

While they are walking around and picking up pieces of woods, Anthony stopped suddenly.

"What's wrong Anthony"
"quiet!... I think ..I heard something.."
--------- they were keeping still for a minute... Then !

------------"help me !! somebody ! I'm here !"------------ It was dimly but they finally got heard the voice that coming from no where.

"I heard it !!!" William shout.
"but... where is it.." Anthony wondered....... --------Then again,----

-----------"I'm here in a tree !! help me !"---------

Two brother's are looking for the tree that it's might in.... but they have no idea which tree is it because there are so many trees .

Unintentionally, a few birds flying around of the tree came in William's sight.
"Anthony ! I think I know where it is !"... William run to the tree that birds were around it.

" hello~ are you there~ ?" William talking in to the tree but he couldn't see anything that what it is.
"oh then goodness !! you found me !!"

William and Anthony got surprised. ---"boy ! It's really in there, what it could be"

" What can we do for you ?" Anthony asked.
"Just give me your hand"
----------Anthony timidly through his hand ----

Then when he felt that something gets on a palm of his hand.....
"ok ! Get me out of here !!"
-----he takes it out slowly from inside of the tree.--

"Thank you boys ! I almost got become the food of a birds"

The two brothers are shocked and they couldn't believe what they seen front of their eyes.
-------------------It was about a one inch tall elf.------------- o.o o.o ------

"Wow .. This is great ... the folk tale was a true !! There is real elf !" ------William shout.

"oh, well.. actually we don't supposed to show ourselves front of the humans.. but I couldn't get out of there without your help"

"So.. ...I'll give you a gift as a token of my gratitude"
--------- the elf took little tiny two stones from in his pocket and he put on William and Anthony's hand. The moment, a stone became a two inches size of a crystal in the rough on their hands.

------Anthony and William looked at each other. "WOOOOOOOW !! COOL !"
William : "ah.. but ...What can we do with this crystal ?"
Elf : "Well.. this is not the only a crystal in the rough. It also make your wishes come true after 365 days"
Anthony ,William : " umm... After 365 days...." o.o..o.o
Elf : "Yes, believe it or not !"
"All you gotta do is.... You must keep burnish it everyday for a 365 days. When the time comes, it'll brake in to half itself, then the blight lights comes out from broken crystal. At the time you can make a wish what ever you want. If you forget burnish it even for a day, you have to do start over again. " And do not drop it ! it's eazy to brake !"

"oh ! and one more thing ! while you keeping burnish the crystal, someday it will changes colors inside of it and it will makes you wonder but you must be careful with that !!........."

After the elf told so, he disappeared into the air....

Two boys are looking at these crystals and stupefied for a while with happened that they've just saw.
Then Anthony realized that it's getting late to go back to home.

Anthony : "We gatta go back home, mother must worry about us"
William : "right ... but ...we must keep it in secret about what happened today.."
Anthony : " Why ? "
William : "because... do you think mother or someone else believe about this ?"
Anthony : "umm... you are right, let's keep it between you and me "

-----------When they got back at home, the outside were gets dark already.

Mother : Where have you two been in this late ! I was worried about you boys "
---------she gave them hugs----------
Anthony : "I'm sorry mother we are... ah..."
William : "we.. We went to deep in a forest, then got lost for while !"
Anthony : "Right ! we got lost! so ... ah .."
---------------Mother looking at boys and she knew something had going on in the woods. But she wouldn't ask----------

Mother : ok, just promise me to do not make this happen again.
Anthony, William : "Ok , Mother ! "

After they had dinner, they went to their room immediately. And they starts to burnish the crystals.

--------At time goes by, the crystals are getting glitter every moment.

The day of a 300th, . Anthony and William were in their room and burnishing their crystals as usual.-------------------------- Then .......

"OH ! LOOK!! Anthony!!" ---William exclaimed.
" What is it !?!?!"
----Anthony saw a beautiful and colorful lights inside of the William's crystal.------

" It must be the time !!" William excited.
"Wait a second....... do you remember that what elf told us at the last words ?" ---Anthony remembering about the elf had warned to them . " Be careful when the crystal changes color" and he also remember that the crystal broke itself and the lights come out from it when the time comes"

Anthony : I don't think it is time yet. We just have to keep burnishing it and wait till the crystals are broken by itself.
William : "umm..... I can't wait.. but... I suppose..." ------- William still watching the colorful lights in the crystal.

Next few days they've kept burnish their crystals. ----------The crystal William has are still changing colors itself. ----------- William was amazed that how could this happen.

One middle of the night, William woke up by the dazzling light. Then he saw a golden blight light coming from inside of the crystal.

"Anthony !! wake up !! it's time ! it's time !" William told him in a low voice.
"wow... ..." When Anthony saw the light, he also thought that "It is the time."
------------but at the same time, Anthony was wondered that why his crystal are doesn't change at all.

They were waiting for long time but it doesn't brake itself yet.

--------------William couldn't wait and tried to hold the crystal.-----------
"It might not the time yet... "--- Anthony decided to go back to his bed.

William became a irritated. And he wanted to find out what is going on inside of the crystal.
----At the time, he never care about what elf had told------ he just tired to wait-------
Then some bad idea across his mind.
He take out a small needle from his desk and tried to scratches his crystal.------ then ! \\SMASH//
"NOOOOOOO !!"-------William screamed
---The crystal slipped from his hand and dropped on a floor. --------It all happened in a moment.
Anthony woke up by the William's scream, then he saw what happened. The crystal became a million of pieces on a floor.------- There are no more lights in the crystal.

-------William crouching on his bed -------

Anthony : hey.... It's ok... still one more left . We can burnish it together and wait till the time.

And another days passed by,
Then William asked Anthony,
"What do you going to wish for ...when the time came?"
"Well.. actually.. I don't deiced yet..... how about you ? what do you want ?"------- Anthony asked him back.
" It's your crystal, so ... you can make a wish what ever you want !" William answered.
"umm.." Anthony was thinking....

"Anthony ~, William ~, it's dinner time !" Mother called them.

" OH ! I know what to do !" "We ask mother and she'll decide a our wish ! " Anthony shout.
William : "That's good idea !".

-----Anthony and William run to the dining room and sits on a chair.--------

William : " ah... Mother.. can we ask you something"
Mother : "sure, you can ask me anything. what is it ?"
Anthony : " Mother, if you can make a wish anything you want... what do you want to wish for ??"
Mother : " Well... I have a lots of wishes you know"
William :" ahhh.. no.. I mean.. If you can make a wish come true for only one thing."
Mother : "umm.. well.. then.. I'll wish for we'll all keep healthy and be happy together."
Anthony : " wa.. what ?... bu.. but.. Mother ! You don't want .. like a gold or money or... ah.. new house or..ah..."
Mother smiled......" well.. no matter how much you have a gold or the money, you never feel happy at all if you get sick." "Then again, when you are healthy and feel happy all the time, you are also feel the you can do anything you want."

Anthony and William looking each other and smiled .... "you are right Mother !"

A night of the day, Anthony and William were on their bed and thinking about a elf that they saw in a woods for long time ago.

William : "Do you think we can see the elf again?"
Anthony : " I really don't know but... I hope so..."
William : " Do you really think our wish come true ?... I mean.. what we wish for ..is.. we can't see the thing ...."
Anthony : " well... we just have to believe it.." " We both know that what we saw was a true "
William : " right... the elf was a real...... ?....we might had a dream maybe...."
Anthony : " I don't know......"

-------- They falls asleep -------

..................................."hey ! wake up boys !".............
............ "common ! guys ! get up !"...........

Finally, Anthony realized that someone pulling his hair.
-------Is that you William..?--------- Anthony rubs his drowsy eyes......

"No...... not me.. it's... it's... the...." -------William points at Anthony's head-----

Then it jumps down by Anthony's hand.------ "ELF !" Anthony shouted.---Elf was gleaming in a dark.---

..............."hey boys ! glad to see you again !"...............
..............."I just let you know that your wish will become as promised".............
..............."Hope you guys remember me !"..... "Good luck !.................................

---------William and Anthony woke up both same time in a morning.

William : "gee... it was a dream...."
Anthony : " what... what did you see..."
William : " I had a dream of the elf came to see us again....."
Anthony : "ME TOO !!"
William : " Do you think... it wasn't a dream..??"
------------William look at Anthony's desk .......
William : "...Anthony... where did you put the crystal ?"
Anthony : " You know my crystal is always on my des..." ------- Anthony and William shocked.

--------------------The crystal was gone----------------

William : ............Is... this rally real happening ??....I mean... what if.. this whole things was a dream.
Anthony : "waaaaahh !! don't make me confuse !! "
Anthony ; "but.. there is nothing left to prove it........ it's only in our memory ..or... what ever it called..."
William ; "Or... we'll sure find out when we gets old ... if you know what I mean...."
Anthony : "Yeah, right !"------Anthony and William laughs----------

Mother knocks door of them room--------" Anthony, William, time to wake up ! " " I want you two go get a firewood after the breakfast, so get ready !"-------------------

Anthony and William looking at each other .."HERE WE GO AGAIN !!" "LOL"

-----------They felt something is different but ... They no longer concern about it was true or not-----
because they know that they will find out sooner or later --about the---------truth------
